In Market-Creating Innovation (MCI), we believe Canadians are the world's most generous and socially responsible citizens. That's why we develop new solutions to unlock that generosity into meaningful actions, making a positive impact locally and globally.

We are constantly on the lookout for new business and market opportunities that WVC could potentially play a role in (i.e. radical innovation) and determining whether these ideas track from a desirability, feasibility and viability perspective. Another key component of our work, is developing new capabilities (i.e. incremental innovation) that could enhance or extend our core services.

In our innovation pipeline, we are actively engaged in two main activities each and every day (i.e. grow and search). We have created an operational model to help us assess our ideas against desirability, feasibility and viability. In the end, we want to more ideas through our pipeline that show a high level of return and confidence level.

In our explore (search) side, we look at high potential ideas through the - evaluate, validate and accelerate - innovation process, On the exploit (grow) side, we transition new innovations by completing their transfer to the core organization or new business units.
